According to some coach speak ive read, one of the reasons we arent playing Shep is cuz he doesnt know his assignments good enough yet. Richardson is on the field alot and does very well for Bama. Do you guys buy this coach speak? Or do you think its just an excuse for not playing him as much as theyve said they would? I'm aware of the goal-line confusion last week, but in all honesty, exactly how many different plays have we seen him run on a regular basis? 2-3? What do you guys think? TY guys/ladies

Guys develop at different paces. Playing strictly rb is one of the easiest positions to learn. It seems RS is being asked to learn some at multiple positions. Besides RS has shown that he definitely needs to get stronger.

shep is learning QB- which means he has to know RB, WR, OL too. RB is knowing which hole to run through

Shepard is a QB.

Richardson is a RB.

Cant compare the playing time of the two as true freshman.

Apples & Oranges. Trent is a RB... the #2 RB because Upchurch is still hurt.

PS - the freshman QB is Star Jackson

Did you see Shep last week? Dude is obviously still learning the plays, which is fine because he's only been in the system a few months.

RS is going to totally tear shite up over the next few seasons
