Are these things as cracked up as advertised? Just received one as a gift and was told they're the shite as far as grills go, but the whole "indirect heat" makes me wonder.

If you have one, any good recipes?

I have had one for 2 years and I love it. If you want the grill marks on steaks and burgers cook them on the inner or outer edges. It works great on ribs and chicken. My grille came with a recipe book that has several good recipes. You don't have to ever worry about it flaming up either.
