If its an online grad degree in certain fields that you are doing while working in said field, yes. Not sure about undergrad. I'm sure with the covid virtual stuff there might be a shift in perception on that though.

ETA: certain fields and degrees from certain schools.

All you need to know is if the institution is accredited by an accreditor approved by the USDOE. Beyond that it's preferred that the accreditor also has membership in the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

If so the degree will meet the qualification for a commission in any of the US Armed Forces or civil service job. Boom! All you need to know. Any private employer or institution of higher learning has the right not to accept a degree for graduate school admission or transfer credit.
