Can you give another example of a head coach signing with another school with an opportunity to win a national championship?

Can you name a single time where a coach whose team was going to or potentially going to make the playoffs left their school in the middle of the most important part of the season? I don’t even think I can name a time when a coordinator was going to be a new head coach t another school when they left before the end of the season.
