Riley isn't coming to Baton Rouge. He's making about 7.5 million per year in Oklahoma. He is probably going to get a raise to about 9 million per. He's not going anywhere.

He has a much easier path to a playoff now than he will once OK moves to the SEC.

It's the same reason Aranda is more likely going to head home to USC. The Pac12 sucks and once he gets that D fixed he will have an easy path to a championship. The truth is USC dominates recruiting in the most talent rich state in the country.

Our job may be one of the top 5 in the country but one of the bottom 5 in terms of stability.

Stupid argument. LSU has more recruiting advantages, better facilities, better fan investment & is willing to put up the funds for a great coach. The stability argument is stupid considering Saban was LSU's coach from 200-2004 (left for NFL), Miles was LSU's coach for 12 years (before being fired), and Ed O has been the coach for 5 1/2 years. LSU is stable unlike Tennessee, Texas, Arkansas, TAMU, Miss State, Ole Miss, etc.

Archer, Curley, Dinardo & O all were under 5 years

Otherwise, not a true statement
