Folk, if anyuone had told me that any of the three QBs at LSU would have a 67&% completion rate, two TDs, two straight pass completions to set up a 1 yard run for another TD, 261 yards passing, one interception, two more poorly thrown balls, and one sack by the 4th game, I would have said "no way---too much inexperience".
JLee is having many more positives than negatives and is progressing with every game. The fans, the coaches, the team, and especially JLee do not like to have negatives in his QB performances. The truth is that JLee is a redshirt freshman and will make mistakes.
The team seems to accept JLee and have adoptied as a philosophy not to let JLee fail. The experienced offensive leadership surrounding JLee is very fortunate.
By season's end I think JLee will be playing with confidence, making fewer mistakes and executing with sounder fundamentals.
I am a big JLee fan and look forward to his growth as an LSU QB.
