Stumbled onto a deal with iMessage when I set up my kid's iPhone. Actually set it up as a backup for myself first then ultimately gave it to him. Anyway, because I used the same iCloud credentials, I get a copy of any texts he sends/receives on my own phone.

That, and the YouTube account he uses is logged in using my credentials, so I can see a history of what he searches for. Actually caught a couple early morning searches for variations of "naked" and "female." He's 15, so that's kind of expected, but it was a good reminder to have a discussion with him. It was also nice that I could deal with it without the drama of having Mom involved.
