Why would Lincoln Riley leave OU for LSU?

Here’s why.
I know I’m not the only one who’s been harassed by OU fans claiming to have no clue about why anyone would ever leave OU for LSU.
I put an exact time stamp on that if you want the full breakdown.
Here’s the cliffs if you don’t have the time to listen:
The case for why Lincoln *might* want to make that move to LSU.
1. Money.
Scott Woodward might make an offer that OU can match, but won’t. Culture at OU is to not overpay coaches and to make wise fiscal decisions. He *might* want to take the big-time money.
2. Peaked Stock.
With OU coming to the SEC, most expect an extra loss or two a year, meaning his stock my be maxed out and he feels he must cash in at the peak. He *might* feel now is the best time to cash in and this will be the best opportunity that’s gonna come along for a while.
3. Championships.
He may feel he has reached a ceiling at OU where he can’t get the athletes he needs to win a championship. It’s no secret that the last three coaches have won it all at LSU including two average (or worse) coaches. Notably, all three have come since OU’s last and LSU is 2-0 against OU during that stretch.
4. Recruiting.
Lincoln Riley LOVES recruiting, and LSU is Disney World for recruiting. He *might* want to see what he can do with that kind of recruiting base.

He may very well stay but Oklahoma fans are in denial if they think their program is better than LSUs for the past 20 years.

If faced with only two options, would Saban or Urban Meyer choose OU over LSU? I highly doubt it.

To answer your subject question......Money

Money would be the only reason and Oklahoma can match that if they choose to do so. The state of the program at Oklahoma is better than that of LSU. Recruiting and championships are no different.

I've always said that Riley should be more interested in coming to LSU than LSU breaking the bank to get Riley.
He's getting the reigns to an established SEC program that could be back in it next year. At OU, he'd have to build it up to SEC standards. Hard to do if you cant win a playoff game.

Last 20 years
LSU - 3 NC's
OU - 0

This is wrong. The foundation is every bit as good. Wins and losses are not the metric. Wins and losses can lead to a change in the state of the program but LSU still out recruited OU the last 4-5 years, has more NFL talent than OU and has 3 national championships since OU last won one.
The recency bias is staggering.
