It appears that some of you are just not in tune with how all of this works. Clients have AGENTS.
Money is EVERYTHING to AGENTS. Money ISN’T everything to CLIENTS. If said client wants more money for staff members or better facilities but is otherwise VERY happy where he is, he will likely not sign with anyone UNLESS it is his dream job. His long game MAY be to just stay put until the family is grown or he decides to do something different such as go to the NFL.
This is about a personal choice sometimes and there is always a balance. If you’ve ever had 2 significant job offers and one is to stay home and one is to move away and you’re a person of have a family that doesn’t like change, then you may choose to stay home especially since you are content and have plenty of money. I’ve chosen jobs that paid less money for opportunity before because I gambled on me and it worked out well. it is not the case with these searches.
