Do track & field athletes receive full scholarships?

How are track and field scholarships allocated? Does each athlete receive a full scholarship or is it divided like baseball with the amount for each athlete at the coach's discretion?
Do the women receive a greater number like softball vs baseball to offset the large number of football scholarships and remain in Title IX compliance?

Track scholarships are split into multiple pieces.

And they can use TOPS to lure the top LA athletes they want
I don't think they have any roster restrictions either like baseball has to prevent the walk on type athlete
Someone like Duplantis would have been a major NIL player as well

There are more female only sports like soccer, Volleyball, Beach Volly, and gymnastics to offset the number of scholarships that football has.

11.7 total split for men for 17 events. These are all the same for Cross Country and indoor and outdoor. All combined
Women get somewhere around 20 for the same sports and events
