Seems like the case hinges on the Rosenbaum shooting. What evidence is there regarding their actual confrontation- the stipling?
I know Rosenbaum is on video clearly agitated, I haven't seen all the testimony and therefore have missed this part.
Every other part- the other shootings seem clear self-defense; his presence there is irrelevant (basically a guy from Baker or Port Allen in Baton Rouge, is their argument).
The AR is a non-factor. Like some have stated, a pistol is a more discreet firearm for self-protection, but he couldn't have one. And he couldn't really present it visually without brandishing it, whereas the rifle was visible (anyone with sense would know if you attacked a guy with an AR, you may get shot).
