To follow up on Grillades, Windows does a lot well, but drivers aren’t one of those things, especially with printers. It will install an extremely old, extremely generic driver that likely doesn’t handle any printer specific functionality. Go to your manufacturer’s website, look up your device by model, and download the latest driver. If there’s a wizard, great. If you have to install it manually, come back and we can talk about it.
