Franklin County, MS. 50 degrees. On a cluster of white oaks that are torn up, 6 or 7 fresh piles of crap.

I was dropped off since I'm about 70 yards from a road. At 615 a vehicle pulled up and began shining a light in a hay field across the road. Shot something with what sounded like a .22 mag or .17. Sped off right away.

My 3yo woke up when we were about to head out and I directed him to his sleeping moms room and gtfo. Gonna enjoy the sunrise, pop the first shooter I see and head back to the hornets nest.

32, clear and a slight wind (favorable)

In a lock on bow hunting. Had 3 does in my backyard at 4:30, then they bedded down behind my pole barn. They were gone by the time I came out.

Good luck everyone!

Claiborne Parish, 31 degrees and calm. Got my oldest daughter on gun this morning. Killed this one late yesterday evening, out making scrapes on edge of food plot full of does.

Took my niece for her first hunt. She hasn’t sat still for more than 5 minutes. When she moves she makes as much noise as imaginable.

But, she’s enjoying the outdoors so that’s all that really matters.

Just finished skinning out the two I got tonight. Shot a doe at 6:05 and then a nice buck came by about 5 minutes later. Shot both in about the same spot and their blood trails actually crossed.

Both ran 30-40 yds and died. They were within 20 yards of each other when we recovered them. Those Traypan blades are wicked.

All in all a good evening and lots of meat for the freezer.
