Is your goal to possibly squeak into the playoffs and then lose? Because that’s the best case scenario for the saints. 5-2 was with Winston. Siemian played solid but he’s not going to carry this offense and that’s what we need at this point.

I'm always for making the best deal possible... Not for this clown. I'll give him credit, MT held out for more $$$ because he knew the Saints were desperate to win with Drew declining but this is past the point of ridiculous.

Trade him for whatever is decent to Detroit or Houston. Screw him. Let his career rot away.

I hate players that can't overcome injuries. I just hope that it's true that he's had trouble with the injury and not that he's one of the "get paid, get out of playing" type players.

I know Payton doesn’t believe in tanking but this team can’t win a super bowl on just defense. Not in today’s game.

The Saints beat the Falcons, they are in first place in the division.

You don't fricking tank.

Why would he even show up to games and practices if he didn’t want to be here? He also included the team in his statement doesn’t seem like a player wanting to leave to me.

How long ago did I post here that MT13 has played his last down for the Saints, no longer wants to play for the Saints and wants to be traded away from the Saints?

Some folks refused to see the truth when the truth was pretty self-evident some time ago.

It's my goal to get in the playoffs. Tampa bay won the super bowl last year on the back of their defense. I doubt we can do it, but who's to say kyler murray, Aaron Rodgers, Brady, etc don't go down down the stretch. Anything can happen, and quitting bc you don't have a player that hasn't helped us get to the division lead now is dumb imo

Keeps his value to some degree because he doesn’t sound sour. He’s hurt, not disgruntled. We had a lot of fun, but let’s move on. It’s best for all parties involved.

And I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that this happens the day after trade deadline….

Not that I matter but I fricking hate Michael Thomas. Can’t wait until this cocksucker is no longer associated with the New Orleans Saints.

"But it doesn't clearly state that he wants to be traded! It doesn't clearly state that he no longer desires to play another down for the Saints!"

Im meant draft picks like a 2 2nd rd picks or a 2nd and 3rd. Yeah Detroit or Houston does not have much to pick from their roster obviously. Should have said draft picks hahaha
