It would have been much tougher but Germany lacked resources to keep their war machine turning for a long duration. That’s why they attacked the USSR Hitler figured Stalin would turn on him eventually once the commies built up their military, and Hitler needed control of their oil and mines to fuel his war machine
US had all the resources and manpower to keep a war going as long as we wanted unabated due to being across the Atlantic Ocean
Also the US fought two military powers on two fronts on 2 separate continents and won both. If it were Germany vs the US on one front at peak military strength the US wins easily
