My favorites in Jazz tend to have some kind of connection to Bossa Nova: Tom Jobim, Stan Getz, Joao Gilberto, Walter Wanderley, Toots Theilemans, Elis Regina, etc.
But there is a ton of Jazz out there that I haven't gotten around to yet.
