Players now have more say than they ever have in college football. They are basically free agents. If something hurts their feelings or if they have to follow a team rule such as, “Don’t smoke pot 24/7”, they can transfer and start somewhere, immediately.
If their team loses a game or two, they can “opt out”, better known as quitting. These athletes grow up not facing consequences for their wrong actions because they were blessed with superior genetics for their respective sports. Now, they can go to school for free while receiving 7 figures in endorsements.
Coaches will have their hands full more than ever. Say what you want and downvote me now, but these problems will continue in college football.

This is part of the reason I don't watch pro sports anymore.
