If y’all’s goal is to annoy the bejeezus out of everyone to make the admins open the coaching changes board, I think y’all are succeeding. Posting the same 4-5 threads over and over

Maybe Napier or Fickell have a higher ceiling but I feel like they're also riskier. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

I agree they are riskier but I’ll take that over a hire that I see being just a little above average coach. Give me higher risk, higher reward type coach than a guy with a low floor and low ceiling.

I would take Aranda if we can get a legit OC to go with him

I bet Aranda, a defensive savant, knows the hardest offenses to defend and could pick a solid coordinator with LSU's budget.

Jesus Christ people would y’all get off of this Dave Aranda as head coach crap. Woodward is not gonna hire a guy that’s been a head coach just a little over a year when are y’all gonna get that through thick skulls.

No need to throw him to the sharks before his time.

I’m pretty sure his proven success as a dc in the SEC West would say otherwise.

I don't think Arandas ceiling is that much lower than the other two though. Just my opinion.

Good. Then don’t hire a guy who’s only coaching peewee (Napier)

Aranda is still learning and growing as a young head coach. No need to throw him to the sharks before his time.

Pretty sure he was already running the LSU program in terms of organization and game planning since Les left. Look at what happened when he left for Baylor our defense went to shite immediately and we really have no discipline or structure for the team. If Aranda would have left after 2016 no way we get 2019 that's for sure. I would like more of a sample size to feel sure about the hire but I don't doubt his ability to run a program.
