His wife and kids absolutely loved Baton Rouge so I think he would jump at the chance to be head coach at LSU

Maybe he does, but his 25 year coaching career in college doesn't support that.

I think it's become obvious now that his time here as associate head coach meant he was probably running more things than just the D. He covered for O more than we'll ever know.
