Auburn Trip experience......................................

This was my first trip to the plains for a game and here's some of my unbiased observations....
**Auburn tailgates very well. It was the closest thing I have seen to LSU numbers wise. They also appeared to have just as many rvs as we do at home games, if not more. But, theres no hotels in the town so this makes since. They're tailgates weren't nearly as crazy as ours.
** Auburn has more hot girls than us student wise. Hate to say it, but it's true. Our best looking girls are better, and our older women 25-40 are better looking, but AU girls (students)were smoking.
** Most of their fans were classy, but they have their fair share of a-holes. I saw them throw corndogs at our fans, make hurricane signs, and they threw a lot of drinks at the LSU student section right after they scored their last touch down.,,,but out of thousands of AU fans I encountered, 99.9% of them were fine and welcoming. Lots of them gave us congrats after the game.
** Jordan hair is very loud. It's the 2nd loudest stadium I've been to( behind Tiger Stadium)... and unlike Bama, its consistantly loud. But, overall it just doesnt have the same intimidation factor as death valley. Our fans are much more intimidating because we have more organized cheers and our student section doesnt only shake pom poms for 4 hours. Death valley also looks more intimidating
**Jordan-Hare is nicer and better maintained by the concessions/ concourse area though, and the sound system was very good as well as the massive scoreboard. They play WAY too much music though. They even played over thier own band and it felt to much like an NFL game when they did this.
**Their pregame was ok, but nothing really special. The eagle flying down is awesome, but the cheers lead by the cheer leader is gay as hell. It ruined the whole thing IMO.
**Overall, its one of the best road trips you can make and I cant wait to go back in 2 years....

I didnt see a very good presence on the tailgating front... Not sure where you were but we were right up by the stadium and it was very slow until right before the game.
I thought it was relatively loud I guess, but nothing on florida or us.
The stadium was nice except everything was labeled wrong. I was suppose to go in gate 9... there was no gate 9 and when I asked they said jsut go in 11 or 12... retarded.

It was fun out there. But they really have traffic issues.

No one has hotter girls than LSU. No one. Even if it is close you never say it. Glad you had fun though!

Florida rivals LSU in crowd noise..maybe even louder.

SOS, I stayed with a friend who goes to AU and he took me around and showed me it all. You cant only stay close to the stadium. If you did that at LSU you'd never see the levee lots or all the tailgates off nicholson.
also, LSU needs to fix the student pick up for away games. Talk about a cluster frick.

I saw some good looking chicks, but the vast majority were overweight. I commented on several occasions that the chicks were kinda cute, but most of them had weight issues.
Chicks need to learn that those t-shirt material dresses don't drape well over fat, regardless of how big your tits are.

This is stupid. What are we cavemen? Come on, our women are hotter than their women. Are you serious?
I always see this comparison. I implies ownership and makes you look like a tool.

No, just a little more refined than the average poster on this site.

Watching the game on TV and it was so obvious that the network announcers mentioned it...the AU fans continue screaming even when their team has the ball...duh!

My experience:
1. Auburn had some hot girls like every other SEC venue. You're really pulling hairs when you claim one is better than another school because it simply cannot be substantiated. I will say, out of the entire group of girls that I saw, the hottest one was a girl sitting a few rows up from me inside the game and she was an LSU fan. Unbelievable girl.
2. Their tailgating was pretty lax and lowkey. Nothing too much going on in terms of intensity. One guy said something to me the whole time we were tailgating and he was put in his place quickly and it was funny. Got into it with another guy later on but I would lay some partial blame with myself on that one. Overall, good scene but I wanted it to be more intense to get me ready for the game.
3. I've always felt they had one of the three loudest venues in the SEC behind LSU and UF. And while they didn't disappoint, the way they utilize songs on the speakers to rile up the crowd is terribly lame. Their band was of little to no consequence.
4. Good experience after the game. I make an effort to not be a total dick to opposing teams after we beat them unless prompted. I wasn't given any reason to be a jerk to them and I didn't want to be. I had fun at Sky Bar after and it was a good weekend in all.

I had this exact same problem last time I went to Auburn. Couldn't find my gate or my seats for nothing. They were all labeled wrong I'm telling you. The fifth of jaeger we downed right before we went into the stadium had absolutely nothing to do with it. The sections were labeled wrong.
