Heading to Lexington for the UK game. Seeing if any of you have been for a game and had any advice on parking, tailgating, things on campus to do if there are any, drinking rules (open container, etc) or any other good things to know about UK gameday. No kids, just a few guys. Thanks.

I doubt they stay in Lexington, probably just outside of Lexington.

Anybody tailgating want to host us? We will bring food and beer. Just looking for some people to party with before the game.

the linked thread above is great. a few additions:
1. the keeneland-football "daily double" is probably our best fall tradition. but unlike previous years, keeneland is capping headcount, so you need to buy tickets in advance. they are "sold out" for friday and saturday but refresh the ticketing website every so often, some seats will be released. you can obviously go out and enjoy the tailgate scene (which is better than what you'll find at the stadium, imho) but you're not gonna be able to just walk into the track this year, unfortunately
2. around the stadium, don't expect anything approaching the tailgating scene you're used to. we're friendly and will share food and booze but it's not on the same level.
3. i went to the bama-lsu game in 2018 and got a ton of invitations to join tailgates, felt the genuine hospitality of the scene, etc. if you make it to keeneland, i'll be in the louisville lot with as much burgoo you can eat and bourbon you can drink. look for the nashville predators flag. go cats

Is downtown area to stadium walkable? Thinking of parking/drinking in downtown bars and walking. Looks like about 2 miles but wondering if that’s an easy 2 mile walk or if I’m crossing major roads? Can’t fully tell from maps. Alternative would be the German beer hall closer to campus. Thanks.

easy walk, you'll follow major roads but you won't be alone making the trek down to campus. cops won't bug you for having a solo cup either

"roadkill stew". most of us make it with beef these days... but if you venture out far enough into the mountains you might find a more traditional expression with venison and/or oppossum. in either case, its hearty and a good base for an aggressive day of bourbon
