The jackasses that bash McCray on here are probably the ones that would have booed bringing Lee back in the game (if it had been in Tiger Stadium).

Bashing might be wrong, but you have to admit that the kid is good at stopping the run and thats it. We see it, other teams see it, hell even ESPN sees it. All an opposing QB has to do is find where #44 is and throw to the guy he is covering. He got burned all year last year, and he's been getting burned every game this year. If he's the best we have to fill that position, we're in trouble.

I completely agree with everything you said. I wasn't on the board or read any of the threads during the game or even until I got to work today. What I had seen wasn't that much bashing as I am sure it was. I agree the player shouldn't be scruitinized but at the same time, their play should be scruitinized if they did something wrong. I would fully expect it to be the same way if a player does something good. Overall, good solid post and needs to be read by quite a few people on the board.

Everyone acts as though McCray was the only one who got burned. What about Patrick Peterson getting burned by that white guy for a near touchdown pass that could only be stopped by Peterson tackling him before the ball was there? Everyone makes mistakes. These are kids, they can't lock down every play. How about the next time D. Byrd or Lafell burns some team's safety/CB, why don't we just say that kid sucks and blew his coverage rather than our receiver ran a good route and our QB threw a good pass?

Holiday can't catch punts(I thought we figured this out 2 years ago). McCray can't defend the pass and gets confused on coverages. This happened last year also.
