As much as I could at least. I was at the game, and caught up in all the emotion of the atmosphere Saturday.

With a clear head this morning, here are my takeaways.

Defense played well enough to win. Sure we don't set the edge, and over pursue rather than staying in front, but good enough to win this ball game with ease.

The center is getting walked back on one on ones, a lot. There has to be another option here.

Nearly every snap when our receivers are tight rather than spread, is not for positive yards. Why the hell aren't we staying spread? Our most success comes from it, and it's obvious.

Max seems to lose his cool under pressure and make poor judgement calls.

Good post. I only disagree with Max. It's kind of a miracle he hasn't been sacked more and/or thrown more interceptions. He's not perfect. But, he is a net positive for this team.

Your point about the tight formations is a good one.

I'll also point out how sloppy the routes our WRs run are (at least some). I know they are young, but when you round off a simple slant you aren't being taught.

I think Peetz doesn't understand how to use the tight formations. He also doesn't have an understanding of how to attack a defense via the run game.

It's all a moot point now, but I'd probably go ahead and move Turner to C as the starter.
