I mostly use facebook for local history groups, and some music. The suggestions I get from FB are all related to those topics; no political pushes.
I do hate the new algorithms they put in place in 2018 though. I give one polite "like" to some old person I know, and my feed will be flooded from their posts instead of funny real life friends.

Unfollow. Had to do that to my aunt today... I do it for anyone that starts politics. I just want my grilling, chilling, fermenting, and fishing stuff to show up.
