Tom Herman?

Jimbo Fisher?

A lot of you Rantards had a stroke when neither of them was hired. Do you still want them mow?

I think it's a little to just assume someone wouldn't be successful here, because they were not as good elsewhere.

If avg to below avg coaches like Miles and O can come to and established LSU program and win a Natty then imagine an actual above avg coach.

I don't want Herman or Fisher, but I think they could have success here. At least Fisher for sure.

Just my opinion though.

I like Fleck, but I could easily see in their first game against Ohio State that they have no legit passing game.

All they had was that really good RB, Mohamed Ibrahim, who got hurt in that game and is gone for the season.

Our last two coaches have won national championships and they were/are mediocre coaches at best.

If we had a competent head coach who could attract proven OC’s and DC’s we would have been on par with Alabama the last ten years with the talent we’ve had.

I would definitely take Kiffin at LSU.

I never thought I would feel that way.

I will admit many of us were wrong about wanting Scott Frost though. He is one that I don't trust even though I don't think you should fully judge a coach off of one bad stop.

If LSU is calling coaches I would still start at the top with Urban.

Bill O'Brien, Matt Campbell, Mario Cristobal, Luke Fickell, James Franklin, Lane Kiffin (long shots Bob Stoops and Urban Meyer) all say hi.

A good head coach who actually knows one side of the ball and how to hire solid coordinators could turn this program around immediately.

No! I want Orgeron for another couple of years, unless the wheels come off.
We have a great class of recruits in the state this year. I believe O has the best chance of signing those recruits.
I want them to develop and be on the same level as Alabama and Georgia.
Changing coaches will just delay that for several more years. (I don't have several more years to wait)
No guarantee another coach will improve.
Who were the top Candidates when Orgeron was hired?
How many Championships have they won?
Heck, how many games have they won vs SEC teams?

A solid idea for a coach would be the opposite of whoever the rant wants.

Fleck has had 2 really good years, the other half dozen he went:
1-11
8-5
8-5
5-7
7-6
3-4

Fleck’s record is exactly why I don’t think Napier would work here. Group of 5 coaches are a coin flip. They get the big job and it’s never a slam dunk.

The thought of playing Saban every year would give that pussy heart problems. He only likes situations where there is no adversity of any kind.

He still has a huge ego, and thought he could turn it around. He might stick around for one more season, but if they dont improve greatly he will be out with some type of medical issue. The guy is a giant pussy.
