Zyrtec 5-10mg 2x daily

Do you know the reason for the Zyrtec? He normally takes Xyzal for allergies but wondering if there is a specific reason for Zyrtec?

My 13 year old daughter has been home yesterday and now today with a sore throat and congested. She will be doing what I did which is lots of fluids, maybe some Tylenol and taking it easy.

Probably won't bother getting her tested, she'll probably be fine by Thursday.

Our fourteen year old son had the chills when he got home from school last night and was congested. Went to bed at 7 and felt fine this morning he says. Who knows what they have, kids get sick.

It’s just our antihistamine of choice at our house plus I found out the hard way that there is no OD warning for it (oldest at 2 got into my Zyrtec) - so the thought was dry that shite out

There has been some preliminary research on Zyrtec (cetirizine) and Pepcid (famotidine) to help reduce Covid symptoms. Use a non-Google search engine and you’ll find multiple results.

Emory University is starting a new study using both
Zyrtec and Pepcid Study

These may not be the silver bullet but again, why have our public health officials not even mentioned these safe, over the counter drugs that many people already have in their medicine cabinet as an option?
