He played pretty good against Mcneese, huge improvement from UCLA, but it was Mcneese.

This statement alone proves O has no idea what he’s saying or doing and is clearly in way over his head. At this point he’s just spouting off anything without any connection to what’s actually happening on the field because he has no idea what’s he’s looking at.

How can you have 17 linebackers on your roster and not find 2 that can play better than Clark???????????

Oh, and I'm tired of hearing "That's on me". He apparently has no idea of how to be a CEO.

If this is his best ball I may check to see if I have any eligibility left.

I don’t even blame Damone anymore. It’s clear the coaches just don’t see what everyone in America can see. I’m sure he’s a valuable locker room guy, but he’s not a starting linebacker.

My guess is he was "the next man up" when Queen and Phillips left. Probably does everything right in the room and at practice but disappears when the lights come on. They are invested in him and love him and probably blame Bo for ruining him last season.

There are a couple of players that I think are threatening his spot now. We will see, the tape doesn't lie.

This is Ed putting another nail in his coffin. I think he’s trying to keep the team from completely quitting on him but what he doesn’t realize is that same stubbornness is what gets coaches fired faster than anything. It’s clear Clark is terrible at MLB yet they make zero adjustments and stay in that crap defensive alignment.

Shows how disconnected o is The worse llinebacker I’ve seen in many years and every one knows it. This staff will continue to play the players who have been with the program awhile instead of playing the best players on the team. As bad as I dislike Bama they will not put up with crappy players

that he’s worried about losing his team

Everytime I hear KB1 talk, he exudes disappointment. I don't think there will be a point when they carry Yaw Yaw off the field.

Oline played like crap, could not push McNeese Dline, could not run the ball, unless you call a 2 yard average running the ball. Are we missing something?

Why is this surprising.

He’s the same guy who said a year ago that the 2020 defense was better than the 2019 defense ever was.

Also new coach should demand changes in the compliance department

I like Woodward as AD, but this is one area where I think he’s failed.

LSU should have no different standards than anyone else. It ridiculous how many players LSU loses to compliance issues that happen at every school, but no other ones lose players.

I don't think this is a lie. Damone Clark is the leader and is definitely playing HIS best ball right now. Unfortunately HIS best ball is some of the worst linebacker play I've ever seen.

Clark’s best ball was as a rotating OLB in Aranda’s 3-4 defense. He’s completely lost in the middle of a 4-3 or utilized as an ILB in a 4-2-5.

Definitely need to keep Raymond. I won't lose a great head coach over it, but that needs to be something Woodward finesses into a deal.
