People are gonna cry racism when Mike Norvell isn’t fired after this season but there are some differences (besides skin color). Having your first season during the Covid season and having to clean up Taggart’s mess during a Covid offseason is a completely unwinnable situation.

Never forget that Norvell punked out of a game last year after the visiting team was in town, because he didn't want to get beat by 50.

In Norvell's defense, Taggart did not recruit a QB during two recruiting cycles. Part of the problem they are facing now. And OLmen. He was Gus Malzahn bad at recruiting.

I wasn't sure Norvell would bring FSU all the way back, but i thought he'd bring in his offense, and they would at least be fun to watch.

Growing up in the early 90s I never thought I’d see florida state so bad. Also Nebraska but florida state should be a powerhouse with the talent in that state

A lot of people that aren’t from Tallahassee may not know this but Taggart forgot to book hotel rooms for the team on an away game and had to do it last second and they stayed at a chickenshit hotel. He was also caught multiple times with joint roaches (marijuana) in his office.
There’s more stories about him but I have multiple friends that are close with the FSU AD since I’ve lived here my whole life and they all can confirm that he was just a shite coach.
I don’t think Norvell is a good coach either tbh but they’re just gonna have to suck it up or pay him to fire him lol. I’m just glad LSU hasn’t sunk that low…yet.

My favorite Taggart story is the one where they did their walk through before his first game in the parking lot of the hotel where Virginia Tech was staying.

I didn't know about the hotel thing but it's not a surprise because Taggart was incredibly unorganized.
