I have had season ticket for 12 years now. A friend of mine has been buying my extra 1 for about 7 years. This is the situation. Every time its time to buy the tickets I have to go to him to get the money, it’s a struggle. Its crying but damn it it’s a hassle. And then when the season starts, in order to make plans for the game I have to fine him again. Now for this season, I have not heard from him in over two weeks. I spoke to his brother and he told me he told him to call me. If he doesn’t show and I sell his ticket should he get the money? Its not the money but it’s the point. Example, if I have an extra ticket, I sell it for alcohol for the day. Should I just buy the other tickets from him? but to all those who can give there 2 cents

I'm sure all of "your great buddies" here will take care of you in your times on uncertainty.
RULE 1, never ask for advice on message boards. Good luck anyway.

Sounds like you need a new friend.

he should either commit to buying them all
or not.
You paid for all of them ahead of time,
why can he not pay for all of them ahead of time ...
then if he does not use them...is up to him to fight the fight

I had a very similar problem a few years ago. The husband of my wife's friend. She and this lady went to grad. and professional school together; very close. I decided to write him a letter on the games to share, cost etc. He never answered so I made other arrangement and the matter only came up once when he mentioned he had not been to a game in 2 years. His wife said "your were sent the letter, its your fault". Never came up again. Done, moved on!

chauncey, ask him how serious he is wanting the ticket(s). If he ask why, tell him it has been a hassle and it would help you out greatly if he either has the money ready every year on such and such a date or if HE wants you can buy the ticket from him. I have the same problem somewhat. It's like THEY are doing you a favor bu buying a ticket.

advice! I am just looking for idea or other ways to look at it.

advice: a proposal for an appropriate course of action

Plus, the first post you made doesn't make any damn sense. Please explain yourself further. Has the feller paid for the ticks or not. If he did, they are his, end of confusion.

WTF?? If he's buying an extra seson ticket, send them all to him and let him worry about it. If you need the beer money from selling the other one then don't sell the season to him.

Not sure why he's bought the other season ticket and you still have it in your possession anyway.
