i liked Peavine Snack Shack on Maurepas.

ALso, Seithers in harahan was a pleasant surprise.

Like a great softshell simply fried, squeezed with some lemon. I just find the sauces and stuffing take away from the soft shell.

Peavine was a dump run by the most uncouth barbarians I have come across. If I had not known better, I would have thought to be in the midst of diners from the darkest heart of Houston, Dallas, or Baton Rouge. Upon eating there during a journey to the wilderness of the west, I was immediately reminded why I am pushing our local leaders to warn citizens of the dangers one accepts the minute he leaves New Orleans. After leaving Peavine's, having washed out my mouth with four of their Sam's bought bottles of water, I fell to my knees and prayed to the God above that such iniquity and pestilence would never befall another person of such erudite and moral standing. Since that petition, I have learned Peavine's has closed.
