re: EVERYTHING considered, are you satisfied with less than a 10 point win?

Young at QB, but shows promise
-Thin at OL, losing Dare didn't help
-Lots of talent at RB, but 3 are nicked
-Lots of talent at WR, still young
-Brand new defense coming off of a horrible showing by Pelini
-Front 7 looks to be stout
-top 2 CB's in country
All of this doesn't add up to necessarily dominating Ucla on road, let alone the hurricane evacuation.
If we struggle against UCLA then we have problems. LSU program shouldn’t keep having excuses each year. We recruit to good to lose to UCLA or not beat them by more then a field goal.

I think what every LSU fan needs to remember going into this one is what happened in Austin in '19
Maybe I’m wrong but Texas had a lot more talent then UCLA does.
We need to have a beat down of UCLA and show the college football world that 2020 was an anomaly. The excuses are over.

Happy with a 1 point win. Our first game their field and the uprooting of the team to Houston.
JUST WIN
JUST WIN

Ultimately, yes I would be pretty satisfied with a 10 point win

So if we go undefeated, and only win each game by 1, you'll be disappointed? GEEZ. I'll take it right now.

With all that is happening, any W works for me.

Texas was no doubt more talented than this UCLA team
But Joe Burrow's not walking out of that tunnel w 3 ready for the NFL receivers either
I would bet LSU if forced to do it, but hard to have any confidence given so many unknowns
If they struggle on one or both sides of the ball, I'm just not sure who we turn to. Who makes the calls on and off the field.
Only thing I'm damn certain of in that situation is that O won't be calling either side of the ball![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

Not at all.
UCLA sucks.

Nobody is going to be mad with a win but it’s crazy that this is what we have come to, being satisfied with a 3 point win over UCLA. This is LSU. We should be destroying UCLA.

Texas had the 7th most talented roster that year while LSU had the 5th
I hate myself for asking but...based on what? Texas finished 3rd in a shite conference that year. So there's at least 4 teams that had better talent. This obsession with talent on paper is not really based in reality unless you're comparing LSU to rent-a-wins.

In a first game with two new coordinators and schemes vs. an experienced team that already had a very valuable warm-up game, just winning is all that matters.

I don't care if we win by 1 point. I want to win this game and get ready for SEC play. the next two games after this will get us into SEC form. We HAVE to win this game

Yes. Take this win any way you can get it, then regroup for game 2.

I will be satisfied with a 1 point win. Just win games all things take care of themselves. UCLA will be much better than people expect.

Orgeron is the coach. Any win would be a acceptable.

Because ya know he’s just awful. Worst coach ever. Can’t do anything right. In fact he’s worst than Satan and Hitler combined.

Absolutely yes. this will not be a cakewalk. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Icongeauxtigers.png)

Seriously? First game of the year after 5-5 season with huge coaching turnovers and you’re asking how big a win will be enough on the road?
