Why would a drillship still be there? DP vessels should have evaded.
I did look at vessel finder and it shows it still in location, admittedly that is odd.

No idea. I would’ve thought they left too. Maybe it had issues and couldn’t get underway?

They were attempting to pull the remaining ~1000’ of riser but ran out of time so were stuck. They should’ve made the decision to evacuate earlier, no excuse. Sounds like they’re going to make it though.
