Vaccines eradicate viruses

Uh...no.

Vaccines are part of an overall strategy for eradication.

I mean, do you think vaccines are absolute prevention? I'm sure you were told by some nut on the radio that getting vaccinated means you shouldn't test positive, but that isn't the case.

Well it was for polio and small pox was it not?

Where did you come up with that from? If you're referring to social distancing and wearing masks then I just have to at that.

I have laughed my arse off, reading your posts. You have just enough information to convince yourself of how smart you are, yet not aware enough of your ignorance to stop posting.

No, actually we have been told by public health officials for decades that vaccines are absolute prevention. Now go email the CDC a harshly worded objection and include how smart you are, because this is their web site

Vaccine:

A suspension of live (usually attenuated) or inactivated microorganisms (e.g. bacteria or viruses) or fractions thereof administered to induce immunity and prevent infectious diseases and their sequelae.

Explain viral immunity for us.

Again, you grasp at a concept, but have no actual base of knowledge to support your assumption. Covid is a viral respiratory infection. Never in the history of mankind has there been a successful vaccine. This one is no different. Otherwise we would have long ago conquered the common cold, rhinoviruses, RSV, MERS, SARS, H1N1 during the 20 year history of mRNA technology
quote:

Because there are no effective vaccines for common respiratory viruses, and it remains uncertain whether and when such vaccines might become available, it makes more sense to pursue the development of more effective therapeutics and integrated approaches.

Meaning, don't take fricking vitamins and dewormer in place of medical treatment.

In another thread you call an actual medical treatment that won the Nobel prize a dewormer. One that is also on the World Health Organizations list of essential medications
quote:

Ivermectin was discovered in 1975 and came into medical use in 1981. It is on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines. Ivermectin is FDA-approved. In 2018 in the United States, more than one hundred thousand prescriptions were writtem by physicians.

quote:

The 2015 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine was awarded jointly to Campbell and Omura for discovering avermectin. A 2011 National Institute of Health called ivermectin "a wonder drug", by concluding that there are few drugs that can seriously lay claim to the title of ‘Wonder drug’, penicillin and aspirin being two that have perhaps had greatest beneficial impact on the health and wellbeing of Mankind. But ivermectin can also be considered alongside those worthy contenders, based on its versatility, safety and the beneficial impact that it has had, and continues to have, worldwide.

You think vaccines require 100% efficacy, don't you?

And you still think these vaccines are 95% effective, dont you? Well, not even close. Recent studies have shown the vaccines are 39% and 42% effective. But, we have also learned that 36% of the nation also has immunity from prior infections. So if you take those away that got a vaccine despite having natural immunity, then that effectiveness would be in the single digits. Thats why you will be getting boosters forever. Because its so effective
quote:

Early findings posted ahead of rigorous peer review suggested the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine declined to 42% effectiveness against infection. Which follows the Israeli study showing the same vaccine having only 39% effectiveness. CDC Director Rochelle Walensky referenced both studies in her request for authorization of booster shots for all CoVID-19 vaccines.

quote:

CDC estimates that 120,258,370 people in the United States have had CoVID-19, or approximately 36%.
