Does anyone know of a shuttle that is running to the game at the Rose Bowl ?

Thanks.

Heading to the stadium from Anaheim. I'm sure the uber will be insanely priced.

If you are coming from Santa Monica, my suggestion is to ride the Expo Line on Metro rail to downtown, transfer to the Red or Purple Line to Union Station, and then take the Gold line to Pasadena and take the free shuttle from there to the stadium. The traffic into and out of the Rose Bowl is HORRIFIC. I ONLY ride metro rail and the shuttle to that stadium! The roundtrip will cost you $3.50. Thank me later.

If you do this, give yourself 3 hours, that's a long trip.

I've done it before. It does not take three hours.

At the most it will take 1 1/2 to 2 hours MAX. With that being said, it has NEVER actually taken me 2 hours from Santa Monica. The other option is to just drive to Union Station, park the car in their underground parking garage for $8 all day, and just ride the Gold line from there. That train ride will probably take 35 minutes.

Getting to the stadium on rail is no problem, getting back is what I’d be concerned with. Once the games is over is the can the rail handle the massive amount of fans leaving stadium? We rode rail to NRG for Wisconsin game in 14 and it worked like a charm getting there, leaving on the other hand was an absolute nightmare, the line to get on was mile long, and it took forever for next rail car to get back. We ended up walking a few miles back to the room.

Great point! My suggestion is to wait and hang out in Old Town Pasadena for an hour to let the lines go down, if that's a concern. There can be a line at the rail station, but last time I didn't end up waiting that long, when I came straight from the shuttle. The game starts at 5:30, so it'll be over by 9:30 at the latest. That's still early enough to hang out for a while in Old Town. Hope this helps................
