So lemme get this straight, if you don’t have the vaccine, you’re trash?

I mean, at the very best you are a very stubborn and selfish person, unless you have a legitimate medical condition preventing you from being vaccinated, and those are very rare.

I know several young people that are actually healthy, not healthy for Louisiana but legitimately healthy, that haven’t gotten the shots yet. They see that with work and school being vaccinated still submits them to the same mask Mandates and capacity/social distancing restrictions.

They see the data and how unlikely they are to get hospitalized and that there are more and more breakthrough infections of delta variant cases and have decided to wait for the next version of the vaccine to address the new variants.

They aren’t trash, nor are they stubborn people. Now I admit, this is anecdotal and maybe I’m friends with unicorns, but it’s what I’ve seen.

I can understand someone being hesitant for a vaccine under emergency authorization. Now that they’re starting to get FDA approval I don’t really get it, except people just being dug in and not wanting to change their opinion regardless of new developments.

Ok so for one, I am vaccinated. Just don’t think you should judge people on their personal choices. Being skeptical about a vaccine that was rushed af isn’t exactly selfish. Only reason I got mine is because I was afraid it would come to this and I didn’t wanna have to rush to get one before FB season.

The Marxists did an excellent job manipulating the media and academia in this country. This Fool is proof positive.

selfish person

Why does it make you selfish? They’ve proven that vaccinated people can still pass on the virus to others. The narrative that you don’t care about others if you don’t take the jab is utter BS. Now, are you at risk of getting very sick and possibly dying if you aren’t vaccinated, sure, but that choice should be up to the individual if they want to take that risk.

The fact that this has more upvotes than downvotes is insane

What in the actual frick? The amount of cheering going on in this thread is goddamned insane. Let’s impose more pointless restrictions and cheer them while doing so? Are the people in this state that fricking stupid? Masks for 5 year olds? Vaccinations for 12 year olds even though it’s not approved for people under 16?

I’ve loved growing up here. I loved going to school here. But I’m seriously considering leaving this state. Nothing is going to change with people this stupid.

“Well bye” is what I’ll get here, right? You’ll all be as virtuous as the band playing on the deck while the Titanic sank.

The guy who doesn't want to be vaccinated is selfish...not the guy who wants to force the guy to be vaccinated against his wishes?

How does not consenting to a medical treatment make one stubborn and stupid. I would love to know?
