How many public events do you know of that cost money to attend and are funded largely by a private institution?

I’ll agree with you on this, which is why you’re seeing a lot of these public events like Festivals being cancelled. LSU and Saints games are not public events though.

the minimum cost to get into the game is almost $100 a person, thats the opposite of a public event
