God damnit…why did you have to throw this in here. This mentality is what kills people on a golf course. Are you a touring professional? Do you do nothing other than practice golf for 10+ hours a day…why shouldn’t you mishit an iron from the fairway?

Just put the best swing on it you can and let the results happen, you can’t control the outcome, only the swing. The more you focus on that the better off you are while playing. And if you do mishit the ball, even in the middle of the fairway, all you have to worry about is the next swing so don’t dwell on what already happened so you can get better.
