To enter Superdome tonight, vaccine card or current negative test.

Yet restaurants and bars are held to a higher standard.
It’s all about the money, and the NFL has the money to call the “shots”.
No they aren't. Restaurants and bars can also let in people with only one shot. No waiting period required.

The only reason I went to Panda Express is because it was adjacent to the store I was at. It wouldn't even be on my list, because I think they are a Pepsi restaurant, which I avoid by rule anyway.
I thought you were in Metairie where Chik Fil A is across the street from Panda Express

You realize they have no choice in Orleans right now, right?
Except they do have a choice. They can simply ignore the "mandate" and treat their customers like adults that can make their own decisions.
And before you go on about risking getting shut down ... I submit as evidence Firehouse BBQ who has remained open, unmasked, for a year now despite the governor trying to make an example out of them. They won the suit to keep the case in Livingston. Nothing in the news since January, which pretty much means that they won. Either the judge did rule in their favor (and the media didn't want to report it), or the state stalled/dropped it instead of risking the L.
I also know of several BR restaurants/bars that ignored the mask mandates as well, but were quieter about it.
All the New Orleans restaurants have to do is put on some theatrics with having guests hold up their phone to imply it's being checked, or just not give a f and deal with, or fight, a small fine later.
Comply or not is a CHOICE.

Would you normally be going to New Orleans right now and, if so, where would you normally eat?

The real question is how hard did they check it? Was it just a flash and go or are they scrutinizing it?

Exactly. Is LaFonda really scanning ID and matching batch numbers with Pharmacy codes??

Correct. I’m interested to see some of the stories that come out of the first home game tonight

Guidelines for Entry
According to the link above, a digital photo or a photocopy of both sides will work.

I stand corrected.
The point I was trying to make, if a person is Covid Positive, getting a shot at the door won’t miraculously make them Covid free minutes later.

I would love if that were true, but the Latoya gestopo will be out fricking with them for not enforcing things.

My guess is unless it is just blatant disregard and letting in mass amounts of people un-carded, then they will come down. As long as they are checking at the doors that's all you can ask for.
This is all security theater anyway. I was looking at hotel websites and a couple of them stated that the vaccine card was not needed if drinks were to-go. Can anyone verify that?

If you notice in the video, a patron flashes a card for a 1/2 second to the hostess and boom she’s in. Didn’t look long enough to read anything on it.

Absolutely, the appearance of doing something even if it's contradictory to the alleged purpose - like letting someone in who has one jab, who possibly has Covid...we don't know.
