The Billy Cannon punt return against Ole Miss in 1959, Jones to Davis with one second left on the clock against Ole Miss, Hodson to Fuller in the Earthquake Game and Bluegrass Miracle.

I think some have already mentioned but Cannon's punt return overshadowed what was the most important 4th down play in that game...the goal line stand by the Chinese Bandits. Had Billy Cannon and Warren Rabb not stopped Doug Elmore one yard short of the end zone, Ole Miss would have won and the punt return wouldn't have been as memorable. That might be the most significant, memorable play ever forgotten.

3rd and 17.

That play served notice what was coming in the 15-0 year of 2019.

Mo Claiborne ko return for td vs WV.
wv fans were doing that east coast sound as if they were dominant but they were still down.
the ko return took ALL the wind outta the wv sails.

To add, after Cannon’s run, the next 5 probably all involve Joe Burrow.

Halloween night in Death Valley. It’s replayed on TV EVERY year. NO brainer. 3rd and 17 I witnessed live on TV. It was even sweeter b/c we had some Longhorn fans show up last minute at sister’s home in Austin, TX to watch. They were overly vocal the whole night. That play was INCREDIBLE!

I’m not really considering stakes or anything in this. Curious on others opinion.

If you're not considering stakes, then the Bluegrass Miracle is just a fluke touchdown.

Who is "Hudson"? Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, better known as Katy Perry, in an Ole Miss fan and has in fact dismissed LSU folks as "corndogs."
