You've never been to the UK, or Germany, or Ireland, or Japan (just to name a few places I've been where this does not exist at all).
Are there class systems? Yes. Are there miles of trash and addicts zombie marching around? Absolutely not.
But this is what you get when you squander your national treasure on everything but making sure your own population has at least basic human dignity.

Japan doesn't look like that anywhere.
I'd bet Norway/Sweden/Finland don't have that anywhere, and Germany as well. Can't imagine New Zealand looking like that anywhere.
Of course there's poor areas in other countries, but their poor people don't act like our poor people.
