First of all, I think media can have a bias if they want.
If Fox News can exist and all those right-wing networks, certain aspects of the media can be left-wing if they want.
Private media companies can have a bias in either direction. I may not like right-wing media like Fox News and OANN but I respect their right to exist.

Bias is one thing. It has existed in our country since the founding. Out and out peddling of misinformation and twisting the truth, not to mention covering up stuff that hurts your preferred candidate, is quite another. AND THAT IS THE PROBLEM.
