Johnson withdrew his commitment to be a member of LSU's 2022 football class, he became the eighth player to do so this year and the 60th player to decommit from Ed Orgeron's six recruiting classes. This is among the nation's worst records for keeping "committed" players on board. By comparison, Clemson has had three decommits in the same timeframe. I understand Clemson Coach Dabo Sweeny insists all commited players promise to take no visits to other schools and end the recruitment process. Coach Orgeron should consider doing the same.
