Are cases or deaths more important. You people need to decide because more cases get us closer to heard immunity.

If you want to be more accurate, the past 7 day numbers are published online.
Texas
Florida
New York
TLDR version: death totals are still really low overall though Texas and Florida’s rates are higher than New York’s over the past 7 days.
Same for new cases over the past 7 days. And same for hospitalization rates.
