Pels held all of the leverage. Most people said they'd be okay at $20 per but he got $21 mil. All pels had to do was match it.

Most people are idiots.
So are the bulls.
I’d rather Garrett temple playing defense and shooting wide open catch and shoot 3’’s than Lonzo.
I wish him the best of luck and hope he keeps getting better, but it would have been absolutely stupid to match that.
I’d bet money in two years his contract won’t be movable without having to give something up. Good player, but just not worth that. He can’t be your third best player, unless you don’t feel like making the playoffs.
