I am sure most people will come to the OT and look for the poster lpgreat1 to see what he has to say before making decisions about their kids.

I’ve said before on here that my son that starts 3rd grade Friday has a speech impediment and wearing a mask will make it very difficult for him to communicate. I’ll be talking to the school tomorrow to see what the administration has to say but if it’s a mask for him he will be doing his work from until this nonsense is over. This is a hill I’m ready to die on.

My kid was in Kindergarten last year. Mask were “encouraged” but not mandatory.
Good luck with keeping a class of 20+ kindergartners trying to have their mask on, and not sharing them, and not trading them, and not throwing them. Etc etc

I understand what you’re doing but I don’t think my oldest really gives a shite because personally responsibly was instilled from an early age. People have had 18 months to make life changes or get the vaccine, if you chose neither I do not care what happens to you.

Zero chance I extend the time this last kids is out of my house for good. He can deal with whatever they make him do.
