I wasn't leaning toward probable, I was leaning towards possible. Those who claim it didn't happen or couldn't happen in good ole Louisiana because ya'll are so sweet to black folks, well, that's just pride getting in the way of logic and history.

As I said, not a single one of us would deny racist things are said privately by plenty of racist people. No doubt. But they aren't brazenly calling black people the n-word out loud in restaurants.. if for not other reason than because who the hell would want to basically sign their own death sentence?

And young LSU kids at that? Come on. Calling a bunch of 30+ year old black men the n-word? Highly, highly doubtful.

People drunk in public frequently do dumb shite. Yes, even dumb racist shite.

I will never say never... Just because anything is possible, but out of all groups of people that would be at chimes, I would think college students would be the least likely to say that. Its just that overall kids today are more "woke" in general.

What I think is more likely is that the black dude might have thought he heard the drunk kids say it or something like that.

What I don't understand is the whole "being black is so exhausting". If I went somewhere and for whatever reason someone told me, out of the blue, something people would consider offensive about being in a wheelchair, I am going to ignore it because I am not going to let some stupid frick ruin whatever I have going on.

If that person continues then I will go tell them "if you got the balls, go in the middle of the restaurant and yell what you just said to me so that everyone can hear you. If not, then shut the frick up".

When I was younger I been in situations where I was told something by a random person or I heard random people next to me (like waiting in a line to get in somewhere) make a joke to the person they are with about me and... because I was younger, stupid and didn't control my instinct as well I say something to them where everyone around could hear and... Well, I just learned that it's to not be the person everyone hears say things..

Of course I have worked out every scenario in my head, but the point I am trying to make is that saying "being black is so exhausting" is something a person allows to happen to themselves and that tells me that they sort of have a "victim mentality" and would be more likely to think he heard something or even... want to hear something. That's the part I don't understand..

And in the very rare occasion that it did happen like he said then I don't know what to say, but sometimes shite happens in life, with the wrong mindset then you (in general) are allowing life to get the best of you..
