It is illegal to drive with your emergency flashers on in Louisiana.

Louisiana Revised Statutes Tit. 32, § 327
C. Flashing lights are prohibited except on authorized emergency vehicles, school buses, or on any vehicle as a means of indicating a right or left turn, or the presence of a vehicular traffic hazard requiring unusual care in approaching, overtaking or passing.

LSP says it's difficult to see turn signals and brake lights when flashers are on, and the lights could cause other drivers to think the vehicle is stalled in the road.
