A lot of people think this is Lowry vs. Lonzo and I don't think that's the case at all. I think Griff freed up salary to bring in 2 starting guards. I think it's more like

PG:
Lowry
Dinwiddie
Rozier
Dragic

SG:
Brogdon
Lonzo
Ingles

You can't exactly mix and match because someone like Rozier probably comes over in a Lonzo S&T, but the basic point is Griff isn't choosing to overpay Lowry or Lonzo, he'd like to overpay them both.

Don't think we realistically have the cap space now and in the future to do that unless someone comes cheaply. Of those players, cap-wise, I can see one of the PGs with Ingles, but not the other 2 SGs.

Bring back Lonzo for a cheaper price, sign or trade for a vet sg with the savings. Lonzo is still showing improvement and on social media it looks like he's working on attacking the rim. He'll have more trade value in the future than Lowry if things don't work out, Zion stays happy, plus we upgrade the SG position over the bum who was traded..
