I definitely take 4 years of zo at 20 vs 3 years of lowry at 30.
We know zo's current limitations, but the fact is he is 23 and improving every year. He may not ever live up to 20 million a year, but it wouldn't be a total shock if that contract doesn't look that bad starting in year 2 or 3.
On the flipside a Lowry contract will almost certainly look worse in year 2 and possibly really bad in year 3.

Yeah like I said, it is definitely not all about play but presence.
I think the FO is...less than impressed with Ball's lockerroom and on court presence beyond just statistics, and I think that is what they are digging for.
