We just got our kids vaccinated, unlike the original variant, Children’s Hospital is having a huge influx of admitted pts, This variant is affecting kids much more than than before..
All of the docs in my wife’s practice had their kids vaccinated as well. It was a tough decision, but we did it..

The OT says you’re lying and are retarded. Unless you’re referring to gunshots while in BR. Then the OT wold be all over this.

I also know a lot of doctors and only know of 3 that weren’t vaccinated as of a month or so ago. 1 already had COVID, 1 was on the fence, and I’m not sure why the third didn’t get it.
I’ve written this previously, but 95% of the medical staff was vaccinated at Touro as of March. But that makes sense because it was one of the first hotspots in US and a few doctors got really sick,

Define huge influx
Put it this way, there were none with the original variant, now there’s an entire floor of kids with Covid. Some in the PICU, two are intubated.

Also, here you go

We spoke with infectious-disease specialists about how to handle this widespread variant. Here are their answers to our questions.

One bit of reassurance: Anecdotally, it looks like the illness caused by the delta variant is no more severe than that caused by the other variants so far, said Allison Bartlett, a pediatric infectious-disease specialist with University of Chicago Medicine.

During this phase of the pandemic, O’Leary said, approach the idea of taking unvaccinated children to indoor public places the same way you do during flu season. “In general, for a kid under 12, the risk for them is not the same as influenza, but it’s in the ballpark,” he said. “So the same decisions you’d make during flu season, this is similar.”

Ochsner’s system-wide vaccination rate is 61%. According to CEO Warner Thomas, over 90% of physicians have taken the vaccine.
Doctors are far more intelligent than nurses. Duh.
It's a demographic division. I'll leave it at that.

How many of these are rsv? It’s been going around a lot lately and doctors I know have been mentioning how sick some of the pediatric patients are.

They are seeing no more severe cases than before. The UK saw no greater severity with delta than the original strain in children or anyone
All the experts here say there is no more severity in children

Don’t know, but they’re coming back as positive for Covid.
